Making a difference where it’s needed most

At RBC Dominion Securities, we know that “community” is something we all create. As individuals, families, businesses, and partners, our contributions to our community come back to us in spades, and enrich the lives of everyone in our region. We are always involved in activities, events, and causes that benefit North Bay. Here are a few of the organizations we support.

Ojibway Women's Lodge

In recognition of International Women's Day in March, the North Bay Branch of RBC Wealth Management is helping support and celebrate the women in North Bay by making a $2,500 donation to the Ojibway Women's Lodge. The Ojibway Women’s Lodge is a secure access short term residence, located by the lake on Nipissing First Nation. Our warm and welcoming home is a peaceful, comfortable environment where women and children can begin to plan for a better, violence free future.

North Bay Food Bank

The North Bay Branch of RBC Dominion Securities donated $4500 to the North Bay Food Bank. Our gift will make it possible for The North Bay Food Bank to distribute emergency bags, consisting of non–perishable goods, fresh food and produce, personal care items, and essentials like baby formula, and diapers. It is one small way that we can support our local community during this challenging time. The North Bay Food Bank was founded by Maurice McGuinty, Larry Klein, Ted Hargreaves and Marty Martinello. The concept of the North Bay Food Bank started in the 1980’s, when the North Bay Regional Social Justice Committee was formed at the request of Bishop Alexander Carter, to study the needs of the community, and to act on those needs.
